the Goddess cried lament
For both of Two, without the One
was sentenced certain death
Yet through the ages, through the strife
the Two repaired anew
And now the Two, that once were One
will meet each one again
Alas, the Two shall not be One
for this the Goddess wept;
What once was One, then rent in Two
Cannot be one again
